Through Curbelo International Airport (at Laguna del Sauce), located 20 kilometers from Punta del Este, is the nearest international airport to La Paloma.

Is also possible to reach it, by using Montevideo´s Carrasco International Airport, located about 208 kilometers from La Paloma.

Aerolíneas Argentinas, Air France, American Airlines, Copa, Iberia, Lan, Pluna, Taca y Tam (see all Airlines) have regular flights to Montevideo, which can be combined with public bus transport and the most popular Car rental companies in the airport terminal

To get by this way, there are companies such as Buquebus, Cacciola, Colonia Express e Ferryturismo  which have regular services to join Buenos Aires with Montevideo, Colonia del Sacramento, and also with Piriápolis seaside resort (only in high seasson).

From Montevideo must take Interbalnearia Route up to Pan de Azucar exit, intersection  with Route 9. From there continue on Route 9 up to the intersection with Route 15 at Rocha city, without entering the city, take Route 15 for 28 kilometers until you reach the traffic roundabout  which marks the end of the route and La Paloma entrance. From Brazil must take the BR 471 to reach Chuy city, from there take Route 9 to Rocha and then 28 kilometers of Route 15 to La Paloma.
